All images showcased on the websites of Haferland Photography are licensed rights managed only.

a) Rights Managed Photos – Predefined License

Haferland Photography grants customers a personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable right to use images within the limits of the declared use. Predefined Licenses are valid for the declared use, which follows the choice of available options during the purchase process. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, any license per image is limited to the respective customer (natural person or entity) for a single purpose use and a single usage cycle. Customers are not entitled to use a photo for multiple purposes, e.g. for two different product campaigns. Haferland Photography does not grant any other or additional rights beyond this description. In particular, any reproduction, resale, or transfer to third parties is prohibited.

b) Rights Managed Photos – Individual License

An Individual License is mandatory for any intended use of images which is not covered by the options available within the purchase process. Individual Licenses are subject to the same rules as Standard Licenses unless otherwise agreed. This means that any license per image is limited to the respective customer (natural person or entity) for a single purpose use and a single usage cycle. Customers are not entitled to use a photo for multiple purposes, e.g. for two different product campaigns. Haferland Photography does not grant any other or additional rights beyond this description. Any reproduction for and resale or transfer to third parties is prohibited. An Individual License is mandatory for any goods which form a product because of the used image, such as the production of goods like calendars, photo-books, posters, t-shirts, mugs etc..

2. License Acquisition

Any license is acquired in the moment that the license fee is paid in full to Haferland Photography.

3. Liability of Haferland Photography

Haferland Photography grants licenses for the use of images for a given purpose. The use of images for or in connection with unlawful purposes or environments is strictly forbidden. Haferland Photography is not and cannot be held liable for any infringements as well as for any respective damages which may occur by such use of images.

4. Print Products

Customers can purchase prints of any images offered by Haferland Photography. All printed products are custom-made upon the user’s request; there is no right to return such products unless agreed in written form. Print products can be used non-exclusively for private and commercial purposes. Haferland Photography does not grant any other or additional rights beyond this description. In particular, any reproduction, sale, transfer and rental is prohibited.

5. Copyright notice

A copyright notice is required for any editorial usage. Whenever the licensed medium is used in any context of information or coverage a well visible copyright notice is required. The requirement of a copyright notice when using rights managed media depends on the individual agreement. Samples of copyright notices:
